Opportunity for a Trade Mark Attorney to join a leading Media & Entertainment firm in London on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The firm acts for an impressive client base spanning multinational media organisations, brand and rights owners, production companies, record labels, entrepreneurs and high-profile creative talent.
The firm is recognised by the leading independent legal directories across a number of its core practice areas, with its Intellectual Property practice ranked by Legal 500 for Trade Marks, Copyright and Design.
The Opportunity
The firm's Brand Protection team advises clients across the full lifecycle of brands and soft-IP rights, covering brand selection, protection, enforcement and exploitation in the UK and internationally.
The team is now looking to hire a Trade Mark Attorney on a 12-month fixed-term contract to work across a broad range of trade mark and brand protection matters.
This will include:
- Advising on global trade mark clearance and filing strategies
- International trade mark portfolio management
- Advising on trade mark and design protection
- Brand monitoring and enforcement
- Online monitoring and takedown work
- Anti-piracy and anti-counterfeiting matters
- Domain name acquisition and recovery
- Advising on trade mark and wider soft-IP disputes
- Supporting clients with the protection and exploitation of their brands and soft-IP rights
Required
- Qualified Trade Mark Attorney
- 1-5 PQE
- Experience advising on trade mark protection and portfolio management
- Experience handling trade mark clearance, filing and prosecution matters
