Our client is a leading global law firm with more than 80 offices across more than 40 countries around the globe.
The firm is recognised for delivering complex, cross-border legal advice to an impressive client base spanning multiple sectors, with particular strength across Technology, Media, Life Sciences, Energy & Utilities, Financial Services and Infrastructure.
Their Competition team is highly regarded in the market and forms part of a global Antitrust, Competition & Trade practice comprising more than 200 competition lawyers worldwide.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, internationally focused team undertaking a balanced mix of transactional, contentious and advisory competition work.
Associates are given genuine responsibility from day one, working directly with clients, participating in BD initiatives and collaborating daily with colleagues across the firm's international network on significant cross-border matters.
The Ideal Candidate
- UK qualified Solicitor with 2 - 4 PQE
- Strong experience or training in UK and EU competition law gained at a comparable international law firm
- Exposure to Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) matters would be advantageous
- An interest in developing expertise across public procurement, subsidy control/state aid, consumer or trade law
- A range of experience within competition, covering transactional, advisory and/or contentious work
