Our client, a leading US law firm, is seeking a Conflicts & AML Senior Analyst to join its global Conflicts & New Business team in London on a permanent basis.

The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to join the firm's Conflicts & New Business Department as a Senior Conflicts & AML Analyst. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the firm's new business acceptance process, conducting detailed conflicts research and AML reviews while providing high-quality advice and support to Partners and senior stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting initial conflicts reviews, obtaining relevant information from Partners, Associates and Secretaries, and preparing comprehensive search terms
- Undertaking corporate research to identify relevant entities, subsidiaries and affiliates
- Reviewing conflicts search results, identifying potential conflicts and business issues, and escalating relevant matters to Conflicts Lawyers
- Preparing clear and accurate conflicts reports and maintaining detailed records of research, communications and resolutions
- Researching, identifying and verifying new clients
- Conducting AML and client due diligence reviews across a range of client risk profiles
- Preparing detailed AML risk assessments and AML packs
- Advising Partners, Associates and Secretaries on UK/EU AML requirements, policies, procedures and required client documentation
- Conducting adverse media and sanctions screening and escalating high-risk or complex matters to senior compliance stakeholders and MLROs
- Assisting with third-party payer requests, billing queries and other ad hoc conflicts
This Senior Conflicts & AML Analyst position is a full-time, permanent opportunity working Monday to Friday 9:30am - 5:30pm.
Requirements
- Previous experience within a US or international law firm environment (Desired)
- Strong experience in AML, client due diligence and conflicts of interest
