Our client, a leading international law firm, is looking to strengthen its Business Development function with the addition of a Business Development Executive supporting its Disputes Practice Group, with a particular focus on Employment.
The firm is widely recognised for its global reach, deep sector expertise, and involvement in some of the most high-profile and complex disputes in the market. With a strong reputation across contentious work, the team offers a high-performing and ambitious environment, working with major corporates across a range of industries.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development professional to play a key role in supporting a highly regarded Disputes team. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, contributing to strategic initiatives and helping to drive growth across the practice. You will:
- Develop and deliver high-quality pitch documents and proposals to win new business, including coordinating multi-jurisdictional RFPs
- Lead and support business development campaigns, from concept through to execution
- Organise and manage events, seminars, and webinars, including tracking and reporting on ROI
- Support client and sector targeting initiatives, including key account management and market research to identify new opportunities
- Maintain and enhance BD infrastructure, including CRM systems, pitch materials, and credentials databases
- Assist with the preparation and submission of legal directory and award submissions
This is a varied and hands-on role offering strong exposure to high-profile work and the opportunity to contribute to the continued success of a leading disputes practice. The role is based in London with a hybrid working model.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Business Development role within a professional services or legal environment
- Strong pitching experience, including managing complex and multi-jurisdictional proposals
- Excellent written skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior individuals
- Familiarity with CRM systems, email marketing tools, and legal directory processes
