The Firm
Our client is a leading international law firm with a strong London presence. Known for its collaborative culture and high standards of client service, the firm is seeking an experienced Revenue Controller to join its finance team ASAP.
The Opportunity
This is a key role supporting London-based partners and fee earners, with responsibility for billing, WIP management, collections, and revenue compliance. You will act as the main point of contact for revenue-related matters, working closely with partners, clients, and global finance colleagues to drive billing efficiency and cash flow. Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing WIP, including regular reviews with partners and monitoring aged balances
  • Preparing and issuing bills via 3E, including amendments, write-offs, and credit notes
  • Monitoring aged debt and proactively chasing outstanding invoices
  • Supporting collections forecasting and producing AR, WIP, and cash reports
  • Managing e-billing submissions, rejections, and client billing requirements
  • Building strong relationships with partners, fee earners, and client finance teams
Requirements
  • Experience in a revenue, billing, or credit control role within a law firm
  • Strong knowledge of legal billing systems (3E preferred)
  • Exposure to e-billing platforms such as CounselLink or Legal Tracker
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive, organised, and confident working with senior stakeholders
