The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Commercial Property Paralegal to join a busy and well-established team. The successful candidate will support fee earners across a broad range of commercial property transactions, with the opportunity to develop their own caseload under supervision.
Duties will include:
- Supporting fee earners across a range of commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion
- Drafting and assisting with commercial property documentation, including CPSE replies, licences, transfer deeds and completion documents
- Reviewing title documents, searches and planning information and assisting with due diligence
- Assisting with Reports on Title and identifying key property issues
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, agents, lenders and other third parties
- Managing transaction timetables and ensuring key deadlines are met
- Assisting with post-completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
- Providing a high level of client service and maintaining strong professional relationships
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to the wider success of the Commercial Property team
This Commercial Property Paralegal position is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm
Requirements
- Over a years' experience as a Paralegal within a Commercial Property team
- Good understanding of commercial property transactions and processes
- Experience drafting ancillary commercial property documentation
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
