Birchrose Associates is representing a well-established multi-office law firm in the search for a Commercial Property Locum Solicitor to join its team on a part-time basis in North London.

Our client is a law firm with a long-standing presence in the market and a strong reputation across a broad range of practice areas. The firm prides itself on delivering high-quality legal services to both commercial and private clients and offers a supportive and collaborative working environment.
The Opportunity
Working closely with two experienced Commercial Property Partners, the successful candidate will handle a varied caseload of commercial property matters while the firm recruits on a permanent basis. Duties will include:
- Managing a broad range of Commercial Property matters from instruction through to completion.
- Advising on commercial property sales and acquisitions.
- Drafting and negotiating leases and lease renewals.
- Assisting with property development matters.
- Handling landlord and tenant matters.
- Liaising directly with clients, agents and third parties.
- Managing files using the firm's case management system, LEAP.
- Supporting the Commercial Property Partners with ongoing matters and transactions.
This Commercial Property Locum opportunity is a part-time assignment, working 3-4 days per week from the firm's North London office. The assignment is expected to last a minimum of 4 weeks, with the potential to extend for up to 6 months.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Commercial Property Locum.
- Proven experience handling a broad Commercial Property caseload independently.
