Birchrose Associates are partnering with a long-established law firm, recruiting for a Locum Litigation Solicitor to start a new role in mid-December for 3 - 6 months.

The Opportunity

Our client, a multi office practice in Dorset, is recruiting for a Locum Litigation Solicitor to assist from December 2025 whilst they recruit on a permanent basis, likely to take 3 - 6 months.

Hybrid working is offered for this position, with 1 - 2 days per week remote working available for full time candidates. Full time or part time hours are considered, with remote working reduced in line with the hours.

Responsibilities

The successful Locum will manage a varied civil litigation caseload to include contentious probate and boundary disputes, as well as other civil litigation matters.

The locum will benefit from support provided by a Legal Assistant.

Requirements

• At least 3 years' experience as a Locum Litigation Solicitor
• Experience handling busy Litigation caseloads
• Ability to work self-sufficiently and hit the ground running in a locum role
