Birchrose Associates is representing a law firm in London, seeking a Locum Family Solicitor for a period of 6 - 12 months, part-time, from July 2026.

The firm is seeking a Locum Family Solicitor to provide maternity cover for 6 - 12 months, part-time, from July 2026.

Responsibilities

The successful Locum Family Solicitor will assume responsibility for a varied caseload of private family law matters, providing clear, pragmatic and compassionate advice. The caseload will include:

• Children matters - including arrangements, parental responsibility and related applications, through negotiation, mediation or court where required.
• Financial matters on divorce and separation - advising on asset division, maintenance and financial settlements.
• Medium to high net-worth cases - involving complex assets such as property portfolios, business interests and investments.

Requirements

• Qualified in England & Wales with minimum 5 years'PQE
