Revenue and Credit Controller

Up to £40000 per annum


My client a leading Top 50 UK Legal firm, are looking for an experienced Revenue and Credit Controller to start in their London office.

The Role
The role of the Revenue and Credit Controller is to work within the finance department as part of a busy revenue and credit control team, reporting to the Head of Revenue and Credit Control.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Producing reports and analysis of billable time as/when required
  • Regular review of aged WIP and meeting with designated partners
  • Prompt and accurate production of all bills submitted for processing
  • Ensuring the accurate processing of all write offs of unbillable time and disbursements and that all such requests are properly authorised in accordance with SRA accounts
  • Ensuring that all bills submitted for processing comply with all relevant VAT
  • Pro-actively chasing clients by telephone and via email to ensure invoices are promptly settled
  • Gather accurate monthly billing forecasts

This role would be ideal for someone who:

  • Has solid legal sector experience (approx. 3-5 years)
  • Has experience in processing bills and conducting WIP meetings
  • Has outstanding communication skills and is business and client facing
