Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor with 5+ years of PQE to join a Chambers UK and Legal 500 ranked team.
The Firm
Our client is a highly respected firm with several offices in Kent and London, recognised by both Chambers UK and the Legal 500 for their excellent standard of work. Our client is also one of only 3% of private practice firms to have achieved the LEXCEL Practice Management Standard.
The Opportunity
The successful Private Client Solicitor will join one of the firm's most established departments, rated in the Chambers High Net Worth Guide and the Legal 500. The work is broad ranging, covering a multitude of private client areas including trusts, wills and Court of Protection work.
Responsibilities include:
- Drafting wills, handling trusts and managing LPAs
- Handling matters involving international wealth, high value estates and the distribution of royalties
- Dealing with the complex distribution of shares in private family companies or assets held in different jurisdictions
- Advising on the administration of estates and assisting with post-Grant issues
- Representing a variety of high-net-worth clients and aiding in succession planning
Requirements
- Private Client Solicitor 5+ years PQE
- High quality educational and technical background but with a wish to further develop and improve their knowledge and skills
- Good team player with a collegial and collaborative approach
- Commercially minded and driven to succeed
