Birchrose Associates is a specialist legal recruitment agency, dedicated to recruiting solicitors and legal support staff for law firms across the UK. We are part of Huntress, a 20-year strong, successful recruitment company with c.90 employees.
About the Role
As a Legal Resourcer at Birchrose, you will support our very experienced Legal Recruitment Consultants with an emphasis on candidate attraction and market research. Duties will include:
- Sourcing candidates for live vacancies utilising LinkedIn, job sites and specialist data tools
- Writing and posting job advertisements and conducting initial screening calls
- Market research and analysis including circulating vacancies, insights and industry news to the relevant consultants
- Generating lists of prospect clients in preparation for consultants’ business development
- Candidate compliance and administration
- Writing blogs, articles and posts for the website and company LinkedIn page
The role is fast paced and varied. You will support multiple consultants, each with their own specialisms and ways of working, therefore, you must have the ability to adapt and manage multiple tasks at any one time.

About You
To excel in this role you must be a pro-active, organised individual who enjoys working with people. Essential skills and experience include:
- Previous experience in either a law or legal recruitment/sales environment (essential)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Experience using LinkedIn and other social platforms (strongly desirable)
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at any one time
- Commercial acumen
- Strong aptitude for learning
